There you go Kimi!

What a start for Kimi, racing the first one for his new team Ferrari, and grabbing the maximum out of it. It was a walk in the park for him and in the interview he said that he was not pushing at all to maintain his position (who would have when u were 15secs ahead of everyone on the race track in just 10 laps!). The only mistake he made was just going off the track for a bit because he was looking at "something" (He must b really bored there in the cockpit, must b looking for some hot chick in the stands :D ). Nice finish by Massa himself, finishing 6th when he started at the back of the grid. Must b really hard for him driving on 1 pit stop strategy. Hats off to Hamilton. Podium on the Formula One debut is a great achievement, only few have achieved it in this sport. The drive from him was smooth, car was nice and it didnt feeling like that it was his first race. He made Alonso chase him :). The best part of Hamilton was that he made no mistake unlike Heikkei who was still driving a Go Kart on Formula One track. Disappointing race for Honda and Renault. I think they dont stand a chance of winning even a single race in this season. It will be good to see what Massa does in the next race. I bet he will get pole in Malaysia.

From the back of my mind...

Life is so short and we have so many things to learn. Damn it!

The man, the machine and the Formula 1

The Formula One begins with Australian Grand Prix on 18th March. With Ferrari flying around in their practice sessions, I have good reason to smile :). Last time they just missed the championships. I am hoping that this time they will not even give anyone sniff of victory. I'm quite optimistic about them :) and I have my own reasons. In 2006 they had a poor start but they came back quite strongly in the mid-season. As the team worked with car and tyres, they had a complete winning package. Thats the reason Schumacher managed to close the gap of 25 points between Alonso and himself. Massa was just beginner in 2006, but as season progressed he mastered the art of racing, making less and less stupid mistakes which eventually paid him off with a couple of victories. Ferrari, as a team kept up their strong work and thanks to them, we had such an exciting finish of 2006 Season. They have maintained their momentum and Massa is topping charts everywhere. Lets not forget Kimi, though he is slightly under performing (given the fact he has Ferrari under his hand) but he is a great driver and he is challenging Driver Championship since the time he came to Ferrari. I think it will be a good fight between Massa and Kimi. Alonso is down lil bit, with new team, that too Mc Laren which didnt have great run last season. Fisichella, he always makes mistake what else can I say. Hamilton of Mc Laren and Heikki of Renault, newbies might struggle in starting races. Mc Laren and Renault are lacking experience in second driver but who knows, they might turn out like Massa ;). I dont want to discuss rest of the drivers because they still need to find some pace.
